Ontario, Canada native Sam August found her second home in Atlanta where she is a singer-songwriter, producer and multi-musician.

Growing up, she was drawn to a wide variety of music genres. She lists Sam Cooke, Carole king, Brandi Carlile, B.B King and Tracy Chapman as some of her main influences. As a music-lover of the classics, you can probably find Sam rummaging through local vinyl record shops or on stage covering your favorite throw backs.

Sam has a natural ability to add a soulful twist to any song or genre. People often say her powerful vocals sound far beyond her years. She loves to create new sounds and wants to leave a positive impact through her relatable, uplifting and raw music.
